BEST Foundation is currently looking for new members to join our Board of Directors.
Position Summary
As a Board member you will be in charge of making strategic decisions regarding the organization’s future growth and direction. You will need to become familiar with the Foundation’s mission and be ready to dedicate time to board meetings along with other members and the Foundation’s executive director.
BEST Board Member Responsibilities
Attend 1.5-hour meetings with the Board of Directors and Executive Director (once every two months)
Committee participation (e.g. Fundraising, People & Processes etc).
Attend tournaments in-person as a guest speaker and/or judge (where possible; great for those living in Bulgaria)

Passionate about supporting Bulgarian youth in developing critical thinking and public speaking skills?
Eager to engage with a small but dedicated group of like-minded Bulgarians and Americans?
Seeking invaluable professional development as a board member of a small, agile international nonprofit?
Do you…
Have experience in fundraising for non-profit organizations?
Have leadership experience in the non-profit sector?
Have a personal or professional network in Bulgaria and/or the United States you could utilize to benefit BEST?
