Over 300 students from 22 different schools came to compete in the fourth and final national BEST tournament of the 2014-15 school year. In addition to the speaking events, participants also had to the opportunity to play various carnival games in-between rounds, buy BEST t-shirts, and even watch a Lacrosse demonstration given by Fulbright ETA, Chase Philpot. The tournament ended with a special awards ceremony where Tammy Paltchikov, Cultural Attaché from the US Embassy in Sofia, helped distribute awards to the winners.

Overall, the tournament in Burgas was a favorite for many of the participants and judges, and was a great way to end the tournament year. BEST is looking forward to the 2015-2016 academic year and is very thankful to the US Embassy and the Fulbright Commission for their support this year.
